the food bank of central and eastern north carolina serves ten million pounds of food every year to a 34 county service area. faced with an aging facility and turning away truck load after truck load of donations, the organization purchased an old flea mall to renovate as their new headquarters. this project includes corporate offices, a new volunteer center, food intake and distribution centers and partner organization shopping.
