How does a pacific northwest regional bank, born from a small logging community express its identity in a high-rise building in downtown Los Angeles? We were commissioned to help solve this puzzle in the form of private bank for Umpqua’s high net-worth clients. The experience design package seeks to draw from pacific northwest natural materials, rhythms and textures to highlight the client’s brand elements in a new way. The resulting space addresses both patrons and associates to provide an engaging backdrop to facilitate daily social and psychological interactions.
